PTCL launches Charji EVO LTE Tablet With Awesome Complimentary Services

Submission By: Sundas Khan

PTCL has been putting in a lot of effort in introducing 4G LTE services for its customers and EVO Charji has been one fine example of that. With a slight shift of focus, PTCL has recently launched Charji Evo Tab with an aim of providing a cost effective ‘phablet’ that can also cater to the data needs of the customers. Our team got a chance to attend this launch event and get a hands on feel of this tablet.

This newly introduced tablet is more of a phablet as it supports the sim card option, allowing you to make calls as well. The best thing about Charji EVO Tab is the high speed LTE with amazing coverage in over 5 major cities of Pakistan. This 6.98″ tablet is powered by 1.2 Ghz Qualcomm with a 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can externally get a support of up to 64 GB. The display and screen size are both really good for newbies.

The tablet comes with a complementary car-holder and has pre-installed premium version of Sygic maps application. This means, you won’t have to buy a separate GPS unit for your car if you own a Charji EVO Tab which is very conveniently priced in at only 25,000 rupees. Following complementary features are being provided that, we believe, justify the tablet’s initial price:

Free Charji EVO Data (LTE) with a validity of 3 months.
15,000 Ufone-Ufone/PTCL minutes with a validity of 3 months.
Free car tablet holder allowing you to enjoy a 360-degree rotation.
Free subscription of PTCL Smart TV application providing over 150 live TV Channels and services like Video on Demand (For 1 year).
– Complementary Free car charger.
– Complementary PTCL SmartLink application.
– Screen Protector.

Users may occasionally experience a lag while running game applications but the overall experience and Live TV Channel streaming is smooth and offers a seamless experience. Other than that, the only downside that we see is that any SIM you use in the tablet won’t be operating above 2G. To sum up, the high price of 25,000 rupees is pretty justified by the perks offered with the tablet.
